OpenAI has completed preparations for the GPT Store, which allows you to create your personal ChatGPT, artificial intelligence message bot. The project, which was introduced in November but shelved after the dismissal of CEO Sam Altman, is coming to life soon.
OpenAI gives opening date for GPT Store, which offers personal ChatGPT development
After artificial intelligence entered our lives, everything started to change completely. Now, OpenAI will offer a new opportunity to those with ChatGPT Plus membership. GPT Store will allow members with Plus membership to develop their own ChatGPT message bot.
Accordingly, OpenAI pointed to next week for the GPT Store opening date. This information was revealed in OpenAI’s email to GPT developers. Techcruch editor shared the content of the mail from the X platform. In the post, OpenAI informed the developers that GPT Strore will be released next week.
Users do not need any code knowledge to develop personal ChatGPTs. However, developers have already created thousands of private chat bots, from website creation to tax consultancy. These bots are currently open for sharing among developers. After the launch of the GPT Store, OpenAI will open these bots to Enterprise members offered exclusively to all Plus businesses. ChatGPT Plus membership is currently priced at 499.99 TL per month.
Although the revenue models are not clear at the moment, it is estimated that users and developers will be able to offer their bots for sale. Like developers, users will also have the opportunity to offer their own chat bots on the GPT Store. However, it is not yet clear whether users other than developers will be able to earn income from this. It is also a matter of curiosity whether the chat bots placed on the GPT Store will be controlled.
It is also thought that the ability of users to create personal ChatGPT without code knowledge may be opened to everyone later. In particular, the ability to use the GPT Store outside of ChatGPT Plus members may open up new possibilities in terms of artificial intelligence.
How do you evaluate this process, which experts liken to the first birth of the internet? Does creating a personal ChatGPT sound interesting? We are waiting for your comments.
